FTSE NSE Kenya Index Series

Launched in November 2011, the FTSE NSE Kenya Index Series represents the performance of the Kenyan companies listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE), providing market participants with a transparent and complementary set of benchmarks to measure the performance of the major industry and capital segments of the Kenyan stock market, and to use as tools in the creation of index-linked products and derivatives. The indexes are calculated in Kenyan Shillings and USD and are available in real time or as end of day products.

The series comprises:

  1. FTSE NSE Kenya 15 Index.

Represents the performance of the largest 15 stocks trading on the NSE, ranked by full market capitalization.

         2. FTSE NSE Kenya 25 Index.

Represents the performance of the 25 most liquid stocks trading on the NSE.
